Ginger-Orange Protein Bliss Balls

Immune-Boosting (Ginger and Vitamin C from Oranges) + High in Protein, these bliss balls are easy to make, with just under six ingredients.



Yield: 12 Bliss Balls


Ingredients

2 T Raw Honey

1/2 C Almond Flour

1/2 C Oat Flour

1/3 Cup Protein (* I use Vega's Gut Health Protein Smoothie in Orange Ginger)

1 t Ground Ginger Powder

1 t Orange Zest (More can be used to roll the balls in as garnish)

Juice of 1 Orange (I used the sweet Cara Cara variety)


Method

1) In a food processor, blend all of the ingredients on high until it reaches a desirable texture for your bliss balls.

2) Optional: To add extra bright citrus-y touch to each bite, you can roll your balls in extra orange zest. It also adds a lovely aesthetic effect, making lovely orange swirls. Or, for a coconut-twist, you can also roll in a desiccated coconut for a tropical snack.
